Thank you Franklin’s Hardware

Thank you to Chip and Michael Kurzeka, owners of Franklin Hardware in Woodland Hills for their recent donation to Homes 4 Families and Habitat for Humanity SF/SCV. The reorganizing of their store left them with over $20,000 worth of surplus construction supplies, and we are so grateful they thought of us. Last week, we received thousands of dollars worth of screws, bolts and other hardware supplies that we can use to build the final 24 homes in our Santa Clarita Enriched Neighborhood® for low-income veterans. Additionally, this partnership has led to our introduction to the Southern California ACE Distributors meeting where we can hopefully get other Ace Distributors like Franklin’s Hardware involved with our Veterans Enriched Neighborhood® projects.

Contributions like these are vital to our projects, and our ability to keep construction costs low and our homes affordable. Thank you again to Chip and Michael Kurzeka and Franklin’s Hardware for helping us build homes for our military families!
