Habitat Volunteering
There are Many Ways to Contribute:
Builds are the core program of Habitat for Humanity. They are the community coming together as volunteers to literally build a home for a family struggling towards self-sufficiency. The family works side-by-side with the community—investing their own “sweat equity” in their new home.

Volunteers are needed in many aspects of Habitat’s programming. Particular needs are in the areas of Family Support Services, Public Relations/Media Relations, and Sponsor Solicitation.

There are many chances to be creative & be yourself!
  • Help build a house - no experience necessary!
  • Join a committee
  • Volunteer to help with a fundraiser
  • Donate or solicit building materials and office supplies!
  • Provide food (Saturday lunch) for other volunteers
  • Provide gifts, food, etc. for fundraisers or special events
