Northrop Grumman Gives Hope to In-Need Veterans in the Antelope Valley

Northrop Grumman helped change the life of one disabled veteran Saturday, January 19 and will help other low-income veterans in the Antelope Valley in the coming months. As part of the City of Lancaster’s MLK Day of Service, Northrop Grumman helped volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, San Fernando/Santa Clarita Valleys’ with a Critical Home Repair/Disability Modification on a 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran’s home in Palmdale. This effort to serve veterans with housing services is Habitat for Humanity SF/SCV’s “Habitat for Heroes” program. July 2, 2012, CA – Habitat for Humanity San Fernando/Santa Clarita Valleys opened a brand new Habitat ReStore, Saturday June, 30 at 9606 De Soto Ave. in Chatsworth. Citibank to help local veterans achieve financial self-sufficiency


Citibank is increasing its donation this year to include our veterans!  This contribution supports Building Self Sufficient Families”(BSSF) — financial capability/asset building workshops that Citibank puts on for our families and will now offer at CoC for the vets through  “Banking Boot Camp” workshops for veterans and their families. It is anticipated that a total of 300-350 Habitat neighborhood low income residents and veterans (College of the Canyons focusing on GI Bill/veterans education initiative) will attend the training workshops.
