Grab your friends, gal groups, daughters and moms! May 2013, women from all walks of life will raise some noise as we raise our hammers to build homes for needy veteran families and widows of the fallen. The San Fernando/Santa Clarita Habitat for Humanity WE (Women Empowerment) Build has helped to construct more than 220 houses in our community. Join as we raise this new neighborhood from the ground with our own hands. No experience necessary If you don’t have any construction skills, don’t worry! Many women come to Women Build sites with no construction skills at all and still make a great impact. Training is provided.
