The American Dream 5K Walk: Form / Join a Team
Dear Dedicated Team Captains:
Thank you for taking the time to become a Team Captain for the First Annual Habitat for Humanity, San Fernando/Santa Clarita Valley "American Dream Walk."
Team Captains play an integral role as they coordinate and assemble teams, inspire and support their team members' fundraising along the way, serve as the liaison between their team and Habitat for Humanity (SFV/SCV) and ultimately support the endeavors of Habitat for Humanity and our mission of eliminating poverty and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
We hope "The American Dream Walk" will bring together a united group of supporters from all over Los Angeles City and County! We look forward to creating cohesion in the community of various individuals, businesses, civic groups, schools, neighborhoods, clubs and religious groups. Creating a team of employees, family members, classmates and friends to Walk in this Event is a fun way to participate in friendly competition within your community and at the same time support a vitally important organization!
We hope to make your job as Team Captain as easy as possible and supply you with everything you need to organize your team…forms, facts, guidelines, instructions and inspiration.
